Practice principle

A short rule that people can follow is better than an invisible policy nobody remembers.

More than one person is trying AI and the team needs simple shared expectations before drafts, accounts, and habits become inconsistent.

Use it at the task

Start with these decisions

1. Name approved tools and the kinds of work they may support today.
2. List information that should not be entered without an approved exception.
3. Define the human review required before an output is sent, published, or recorded.
4. Name one person who can collect questions and revise the rule after a short trial.

Do not let a convenient draft become an unchecked decision

Do not present a one-page working agreement as a complete policy. It should fit inside, not replace, the organization’s security, privacy, employment, legal, and client obligations.
